The first of my outdoor newborns for August!

If you missed the post about the outdoor newborn mini sessions, scroll down a few! I have 3 new babes signed up and have room for 2 more still. I know it isn’t August quite yet, but little Gunnar made his appearance 3 weeks early, so he gets to be posted early. :)

I have truly enjoyed following these buggers for a whole year, starting at 7 days old, then 3 months, 6-7 months, and now 1 year (well, 13 months). They are  SO cute. I really can tell them apart easily in the photos, but it’s so much harder in the moment, I think I guessed wrong every time I tried calling one!

A quick little flashback, here they are at 7 days old, 1 year ago:

And now!

Beautiful big sister:

Aubrey + Jaxon

6 months old, such a cute age!

Brother by himself while sister was settling, I couldn’t get enough of this smile:

I thought this was so funny! It looks like he’s saying “Hey, move out of the way, that camera is ALL for me!”

Such a pretty little girl:

Dalilah has turned 1 year! She’s smart, beautiful, curious, charming, and loved. :)

Never forget the little feet and hands…

This girl can grrrrrowl! Power to the babies!

Free outdoor newborn mini sessions in August!

We finally have some beautiful warm summer days here in Oregon! Since it is now plenty warm enough to comfortably have newborns outside, I’d like to make some fresh new colorful and striking artwork for some local new Mommies and Daddies and play with some of the beautiful new blankets, hats, wraps and baskets I’ve been collecting all year but haven’t had a chance to use. If you have a baby due in August, or have a friend due now through the end of August, pass this info along to them! These sessions will be focusing on one art piece (or a few if baby is loving playing as much as me) of baby outside, not a normal, full newborn session with multiple backgrounds, changes and family/sibling shots. Baby should be less than 2 weeks old at time of session.

The details:

– No session fee! Come and have fun! Allow up to 1 hour, but most likely around 30 minutes. We will work together beforehand to pick favorite colors, background, and location.

– New baby only for these, please book a regular session for shots with siblings and family.

– Art pieces will be available for purchase on mounted prints, small gift prints in quantities of 3 or more, and fine art canvases at regular prices.

– Available free from now until the end of August. If your baby is due in August but arrives late, exceptions will be made. ;)

– These can be supplemental to currently booked newborn sessions, to be done on a different day, separate from full newborn session.

C.J. + Jake. Eugene Oregon twin photographer

5 year old fraternal twin red-headed brothers. :) Anyone who has had a 5 year old boy will understand. The energy is through the roof, exploring, moving, creating, destroying. I love the honesty, they do not sugar coat anything ;) So much fun though, if you can keep up.

I love these genuine faces! If only they’d tell me how they REALLY feel ;)

7 week old Alec. Portland newborn photographer

7 weeks old is sometimes a pretty hard age to photograph! But there are also some great benefits, like little smiles, eye contact, a little bit of cute chub, and they will still usually cooperate for a few sleepy images as well. This little guy had amazing, long eyelashes. :)

Smile!

I couldn’t help but smile the whole time I edited these images. My cheeks actually hurt. :)

Sisters on the coast.

Big sister Gwen and little 2 month old Alayna ~

A bit of red, white and blue a day late :)

I just love everything about this one:
