Can you even believe this eye contact and smile came from an 8 day old little person?! Henry was a pro model, such a content and enjoyable newborn.

My first time going to Ecola State Park in Cannon Beach. Lovely, beautiful beach. This is the first of 3 beach sessions I have on the books for this spring and summer so far, and now I’m really looking forward to the others, seeing how lovely this one was! 3 beautiful sisters, and sand and water. Great combination.

My first trip over to Jackson Bottom wetlands preserve with a wonderful family on a wonderful sunny day. Win-win-win. :) Sharing black and whites only today!

Big brother, 4 years old. Wise, hilarious, and really beautiful eyes that draw you in:

Little brother, 2 years old: “All done” with my camera before we even began! I caught him anyway, and he was absolutely adorable.

From the last few weeks.
Definitely one of my very favorite things in the world…photographing newborns outdoors. It isn’t for every family, but it’s so rewarding as an artist who loves both nature and newborns, when it works out! Heirloom newborn art, and with some brainstorming between you and I (colors and location) it is something that can be planned ahead of time to go in a certain room in your home as an art piece! Really, what is more beautiful than your new child as art?!

And this little boy here, what an amazing little content smile, huh?! Probably milk drunk

Enjoy your little ones, and celebrate your most important role in their lives.

I am giddy to say I witnessed this little girl enter the world just 5 short days ago. Photographing a birth is one of the most incredible things I have had the honor of doing in my career. Each is just as incredible as the last.
So without further ado, here is Alayna Kay, at 5 days:

She was kind enough to let me capture several sweet smiles today:

Little Peach:

Another adorable newborn sister and brother duo I photographed recently.
