My son Levi’s dream come true…to meet Thomas the train. We went to The Day Out With Thomas at the Mt. Hood Railroad out in Hood River. It was a sweet day, although we could have lived with less heat. The heat didn’t phase him at all, he didn’t sleep the night before, or last night either, he’s been just TOO happy

This was so sweet, he was in awe. He was waiting for Thomas to start talking to him.
I visited my old stomping grounds the other day, North Portland. I grew up in the Piedmont neighborhood and spent all of my summers up at Peninsula Park, mostly swimming! I also loved running through the Rose Garden grass “mazes” and playing hide and seek. I bet this little girl on the way will enjoy many similar summers
And I just have to throw in a couple fun ones…well, for fun I loved how the flare framed the baby belly so perfectly in the bottom one.
Sweet little identical brothers Asher and Connor were so good to me. They slept, they posed, they were tiny and cute. Just…perfect. 7 days new.
I used quotes because we ended up camping out in a hotel room part of the time. 
Still very fun, kids had a blast, and we are already looking forward to next weekend when we will be visiting the beautiful REAL Island of Sodor and meeting Thomas himself! Anyone with a 4 year old boy will know the thrill I am speaking of Here is a quick snapshot of Silver Falls, the South falls. Located in the lovely town of Silverton, OR. Also located in Silverton is The Oregon Gardens. I am planning a full day of mini sessions there this Summer, as well as a FREE client appreciation beach night at the coast! We had too much fun today…I can’t wait to edit the rest of these when I get back from our camping weekend! You just can’t help but smile back at these sweetie girls.
You may recognize one of these cuties from my header up above. I photographed little Alyssa and Gizelle several weeks ago, and met them again today to get some family shots. A few of my favorites:
My 2 oldest. I took a similar shot with the baby in a wagon in the frame, but I loved how this one shows the older kids’ close bond. They really are best friends.
The big kids went to a play over the weekend, so we took the little guy to the Japanese Gardens, one of our favorite places. Later on we took all 3 kids on the Max train down to the Rose Festival on the waterfront. Tiring, but fun! Good naps were had by all (except the parents).
