Another of my favorite ages, the 6-9 month crowd! Sweet, beautiful girls.

There is no right or wrong time to get newborn photos. At 3 weeks it is difficult or nearly impossible to get sleepy and curled up images (the one below was just a moment of sleepiness after much work and waiting, but you can see how stretched out they are by this age). But also, babies are more alert and can often (sometimes) make eye contact with their beautiful newborn eyes. Sometimes they have baby acne at this age, and sometimes they have it right after birth or not until 6 weeks. Every child is different, but all are perfect and beautiful, at any age.

I name a lot of my maternity blog posts “Beautiful belly” I know, but really, it’s the perfect description, so…

I’ve been waiting for some willing evening light participants with baby twins, finally got a pair! This is the image I’ve had knocking around in my brain for a while. It came out just as I’d hoped.

Well, we attempted to do photos in my studio, but just like his big brother’s newborn session 2 years ago, little guy was just not into the whole sleeping and posing thing! But we went to the park, and all was perfect.
