Oh how I love a fresh, brand new baby.
Look at this little smile!

With sweet big sister:

I loved the old-timey feel of these black and white photos of this lovely family. The whole time I was editing these they reminded me of the box of weathered photos I used to love to look through of my Great-Grandma as a young woman. Just simple documentation of beautiful life.

3 beautiful little sisters, welcomed into the world by 6 older siblings plus Mom and Dad. Yep, that’s a full house!

I love how this shows just how much bigger little Emilia is than tiny Rosalie in the middle.

This was my last outdoor family session of the year, although I still have 1 or 2 more to share on the blog here soon, before all the winter babies.
No one needs to tell you, but it is COLD outside! It got colder earlier this year, making my fall outdoor sessions a little tricky at times. I can’t wait to get back outdoors in the spring, but in the meantime I’m getting my new studio ready for January-March babies and kids. I’m looking forward to sharing more progress photos of it soon.
So back to these cuties…almost 2 is a very tricky age to photograph, even in good weather! So that just makes it even more rewarding to catch these fleeting family memories:

These little ones were supposed to be born just this past Thursday, but they had other ideas.
I dare you not to smile! Maybe even giggle…or at least let out a quiet “awwwwwwwww!”

I met Gunnar when he was 4 weeks old, and he was absolutely a wonderful little sleepy model. It probably helped that it was during those HOT days we had in late July, when it was well over 100 degrees…well he’s grown so much since then, look at these beautiful eyes.

He loves his little thumb!
